All 26,500 threatened species on the IUCN Red List have human-made stressors, such as logging, tourism, housing development, hunting and trapping, climate change, military activity, industry, and pollution. These stressors are not always visible, making it difficult to understand the threat. To simplify this, a black balloon representing a nonrenewable resource was used to visually represent the threat to at-risk species. Each species was represented by a ragdoll model being acted upon by hyperobject forms.
